MCA #1, Tuesday Evening

Lulu was bustling around the kitchen, preparing various ingredients, while she waited for Liir to show up.

There was a pot of orange spice cocoa on the stove, simmering away, for when he got there. The aroma was wafting through the apartment, and probably out into the hallway, as well.

"Come in!" Lulu called, even as she ladled cocoa into two mugs.

He slipped in, quiet as always, and gave her a smile.

"It smells wonderful already. Did I miss part of it?"

"No, that's just the cocoa," Lulu said, holding out one of the mugs. "Here. It's flavoured with orange and cinnamon."

He took the cup happily and sniffed it.

"I knew the cinnamon and the chocolate. The orange is different."

He took a sip.

"Good, though."

"I'm rather fond of it myself," Lulu said. "Now, is there anything in particular you'd like to learn to make? Or shall we just begin?"

Jean-Paul kept breezing into the kitchen, peering at the cocoa, then coming to his senses and dashing back into his room. He'd done this about five times now.

"Jean-Paul," Lulu began, "you have told me that chocolate would be detrimental to your health. Exactly how much is detrimental?"

Jean-Paul considered this. "I ate half a jar of Nutella on Saturday and did not die, but on the flip side Henry McCoy seems convinced that was a miracle. Also, I did not actually sleep until some time yesterday afternoon. So. Not much?"

"... Jean-Paul." Lulu Frowned. Yes, with a capital 'F'.

Of course, then she reached into a cupboard and pulled out a tin. "One cookie, no more." She handed over an Oral Sex.

"I had no willpower," he said. "I am not sure why. And then there were Adoption Stories and I deserved it." He took the cookie, eyed it for a moment, then took a bite of it.

"Nnnngh. Lulu. Marry me."

Mike was headed up to his apartment when he caught a whiff of the most delectable chocolaty aroma. He followed it to MCA #1 and knocked on the door. It was only the neighborly thing to introduce himself, after all.

"Come in!" Lulu called, stepping out of the kitchen and into the hallway towards the door, so that she could greet whoever it was coming by.

"Hi there! I'm Mike Cannon from #3. I thought I'd stop by say hi," said Mike, who very carefully kept his eyes on Lulu's face after sneaking just a peek at the rest of her. Years of working with the girls back in Vegas had him very well-trained.

Years of... well, years of being Lulu meant that she still caught the peek, but it's not like she's unused to it -- and he was being very good about it after the peek, so. "Lulu," she introduced herself. "My roommate Jean-Paul is around here somewhere, as well." ... And likely to be a bit appreciative. "Would you like to come in? I have some cocoa on the stove."

"I would definitely like some cocoa," said Mike, flashing a grin as he entered the apartment. "Nice place. How long have you lived here?"

Jean-Paul came out of his room after hearing the knock on the door.

Oooh, hello attractive visitor.

"Bonjour!" he said cheerily.

"Bonjour! I'm Mike Cannon, the new neighbor in #3," said Mike, offering his hand.

"Jean-Paul Beaubier," Jean-Paul said, shaking his hand. "You must be very new indeed, I think I would remember having seen you in the halls."

"I just moved in last week," replied Mike. "It's good to meet you, Jean-Paul."

Rikku was in a strange mood after her religion class - as always - and hoped Lulu wouldn't mind the company. She knocked on the door and ... ooooh. Something smelled nifty.

Lulu moved to the door, opening it wide. "Rikku! Come in! Would you like some cocoa?"

"Hiya! Ooooh, is that what smells so awesome?" Rikku grinned, stepping inside. "I kinda feel bad that I never have, like, times when I'm cooking and you drop by? But I don't have a kitchen and all."

"The cocoa, and the Oral Sex," Lulu said. "I was making some earlier with Liir -- he's TAing for my class this semester. Have you met him?"
