Lulu sighed as she stepped across the threshold of the portal; not because of the transportation, or because she had any concerns about her role on this new island -- certainly, she'd established that quite quickly in the whirlwind of correspondance that had led to her accepting a position as a teacher -- but because of Wakka's last words to her before she left. Words that didn't bear repeating, mostly because she didn't give him enough credit to believe that they were true.
But here she was a couple of bags in hand and a third being carried by her Onion Knight doll -- never mind that the bag was two or three times the size of the doll, that's one of the advantages of legendary weapons.
As the portal closed, Lulu found herself on the island's end of a long bridge: the causeway, Lulu realised, that the information she'd received about the island had said connected to the mainland. This was where she'd been told she'd arrive, and also where she'd been told someone would meet her; in their apparent immediate absence -- perhaps she was slightly early, or perhaps they were running a few moments late -- she put down her bags, instructing the Onion Knight to do so as well, and then sat gracefully upon one of them to wait.
[OOC: For the teaching buddy, as is showing up to welcome Lulu.]
